What are frameworks?

Frameworks are pre-established agreements with suppliers that provide a streamlined route to procure goods and services across multiple categories. These agreements are designed to offer flexibility, value for money, and ease of access to a wide range of products and services.

How are frameworks put together?

Frameworks are created through a competitive tendering process. Here’s our step-by-step overview:

1. Needs assessment:

We identify the required goods, services, or works required based on our customer needs, market requirements and upcoming trends.

2. Market research:

Our team of category and procurement experts conduct a full assessment of the relevant market and potential suppliers.

3. Tender preparation:

We develop all tender documents outlining specifications, terms, and conditions.

4. Invitation to tender:

Our tender gets published and suppliers are invited to bid.

5. Evaluation:

After receiving all supplier bids, we assess each for compliance before applying predefined award criteria based on quality and price.

6. Awarding the framework:

Following the evaluation process our experts identify those suppliers that will be awarded a place on the framework and agreements are signed with each of the successful suppliers…

7. Call-off contracts:

Once our framework is live, which is typically for a maximum duration of four years, individual contracts (call-offs) are awarded to suppliers as per our customers’ requirement. Call-off contracts can extend beyond the four years of the framework agreement.
